Individual Therapy
Helping Children Understand Their Emotions, Build Regulation Skills, and Thrive

At Sunrise Children's Regulation Therapy, we provide individualized therapy for children ages 5–14 who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, and/or executive functioning challenges. Our goal is to help children better understand their feelings, strengthen their coping skills, and build confidence in navigating everyday life.
We recognize that every child is unique. Therapy is tailored to each child's developmental level, strengths, interests, and needs, creating a supportive environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.
Approach
We utilize evidence-based and developmentally appropriate interventions, including:
* Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
* Play Therapy techniques
* Solution-Focused Therapy
* Trauma-Informed and Trauma-Focused approaches
* Social-emotional skill building
* Parent collaboration and support
Our work is grounded in the belief that behavior is communication. Together, we help children understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences while developing practical tools to manage challenges and build resilience.
